Dublin Vamp Fan? 90’s Vampires @ Light House Cinema

Anyone near Dublin (or willing to travel) can attend Light House Cinema who have teamed up with the Bram Stoker Festival to bring you four nights of 90’s Vampires being From Dusk Till Dawn, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Blade I & II and Bram Stoker’s Dracula. See their website for ticketing information.

Our focus is on the 1990’s, a time when pop culture was particular steeped in irony and self-reference. Interpretations of the Dracula character have endured in Hollywood for decades in various different forms and in the 1990s vampires took a form more pleasing to the overall cultural zeitgeist at a time when the horror genre was having fun with its own tropes and conventions.

EW has interviewed Dark Horse Comics writers Christos Gage about the penultimate story arc for Buffy Season 10 as they edge close to the Season 10 finale.

New Buffy Spin Off? Ripper mate!

Hi Vamps!

Anthony Head has admitted recently he is still very much interested in the “Ripper” spin off which has been kicking around for a few years now. According to him, both he and Joss are keen to do it but of course time keeps getting in the way! (Pesky Avengers films!)

No time frame has been set and I’m not sure it will ever see the light of day but who knows? Fangs crossed 🙂
